Camp
Banksia is centrally located on Tasmania's North West Coast at
Port Sorell, The Port of Golden Beaches. It is 17km East of Devonport
and just over a 1 hour drive from Launceston.
Port
Sorell's location and particularly mild climate make it ideal
for all types of recreation. It is also a convenient base for
exploring the many facilities and points of interest in the Cradle
Coast region.
Directions
From
Burnie & Devonport
Traveling
east on the A1, take the B74 turn off (Xkm past the Mersey River
bridge) to Port Sorell and proceed through Wesley vale. At the
roundabout take the Port Sorell exit (straight ahead) and in 1.5
km turn left into Kermode St. Turn left at the "T" junction
into Pitcairn St and take the first right into Anderson St. Camp
Banksia is on your left.
From
Launceston & Hobart
Traveling
west on the A1, take the B74 turn off (Xkm past Latrobe roundabout)
to Port Sorell and proceed through Wesley vale. At the roundabout
take the Port Sorell exit (straight ahead) and in 1.5 km turn
left into Kermode St. Turn left at the "T" junction
into Pitcairn St and take the first right into Anderson St. Camp
Banksia is on your left.
From
Exeter
Traveling
west on the B71, take the C708 turn off to the right (straight
ahead) towards Port Sorell. At the roundabout take the Port Sorell
exit (right turn) and in 1.5 km turn left into Kermode St. Turn
left at the "T" junction into Pitcairn St and take the
first right into Anderson St. Camp Banksia is on your left.

Devonport
Airport has daily flights to and from the mainland. Contact Qantas

Road
Tasmanian
Redline Coaches operate throughout the state but don't have
a service to Port Sorell. Their nearest stop is Devonport or Latrobe.
Serenity
Shuttles operates a minibus along the North west coast and
will connect with ferry, bus and airplanes. (Ph 03 6424 9251)
